About Me

Hi my name is Scarlett Foxx and I'm responsible for making magic behind the camera.

 From an early age I've always had a passion for art, but it wasn't until seeing Pirates of the Caribbean as a kid that I knew makeup was what I wanted to do. From the moment I saw Joel Harlow’s work on Bootstrap Bill I was amazed at what you could create with a little bit of silicone and a lot of hard work, and was determined to know how he created such a complex design. I was, and still am, fascinated at how makeup can completely transform someone from a simple scratch on the face to completely altering the way someone looks- or even turning them into a creature. 

I've recently graduated from Sheridan's Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program with my diploma and am now furthering my skills in Sheridan's Advanced Special Effects Makeup, Prosthetics and Props graduate program which will be wrapping up in December 2020. There I was able to grow even more as an artist, specialize in prosthetics and become even more confident working on set and in a shop atmosphere.
